Manuscript Review |
A manuscript review is a written critique that includes analyses of story flow, structure, and plot. Logical gaps are identified to provide a roadmap for revisions. Manuscript review is helpful when you are "stuck" and need guidance in identifying and setting priorities for the writing and editorial tasks required to complete your manuscript. This service also benefits those with an outline or initial draft who are struggling with story structure or need coaching on the writing process.

Editing

Editing levels typically comprise developmental, copy, and line editing, as well as proofreading, in decreasing order of attention to overall story and plot structure and increasing order of mechanics (e.g., grammar, usage, and punctuation).
Our editors provide tangible detailed analyses and recommendations to move manuscripts further along in the publishing process while improving the overall writing and storytelling. |

Layout & Design |
Prior to publishing most manuscripts are formatted in MS Word or a similar text program. This is fine for submissions, but the formatting and quality of PDF conversion are typically too low for print publishing.
Using standard publishing software such as InDesign, we convert text manuscripts to professional print-ready PDFs that will be accepted and printed by all on-demand and offset printers. |
